When are applications due?

Where is SDC located?
SDC operates out of 2 of our CSISD campuses here locally. We utilize those facilities for our on-site activities, but also take field trips to various places each week.
Are training dates mandatory?
Yes, due to our summer program being licensed through Texas Department of Health & Human Services, all staff must receive training hours in various areas. Inability to attend training sessions, including the staff retreat, may result in you not being able to work for SDC.
If I am taking summer school, can I still work camp?
Depending on your class schedule, you may still be able to work camp.
Are there any obligations for SDC before the summer begins?
We hold staff training and other events before the summer. Some dates are listed on the Available Positions page. Other dates may be communicated at a later time.
Are there other programs similar to SDC during the school year?
Yes, we also offer an After School Program, called Kids Klub. We are currently hiring for our Spring Semester. More information about Kids Klub can be found at kidsklub.csisd.org.
